Paul Allen PR
Founded in 1992, Paul Allen PR is one of the leading public relations consultancies in Ireland. The company works with high-profile clients to turn their aspirations and ambitions into results-oriented, targeted PR campaigns. With years of experience and finely honed industry expertise, the team at Paul Allen PR has earned an exceptional reputation for its campaigns in Ireland, Northern Ireland, the UK and the USA. Its specialist areas include corporate communications, public affairs, crisis management and event management. The company’s clientele consists of corporate clients, high-profile organisations and individuals, and heads of state – including five Irish Taoisigh (Prime Ministers), three British Prime Ministers and two US Presidents.
Paul Allen PR has managed many prestigious campaigns, conferences, meetings and events. These included the historic visit of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to Ireland during the summer of 2011 and, in the sports arena, the Croke Park Classic of 2012 and the Croke Park American football game of 2014. At the presidential conferences held in Dublin, Paul and the company have worked with the Chambers of Commerce, Queens University Belfast and with former US President Bill Clinton. The intrepid PR consultant continues to work closely with Alistair Campbell, the well-known former Director of Strategy and Communications at Downing Street during Prime Minister Tony Blair’s terms in office.
Allen started demonstrating his solid work ethic early on, during his degree studies, alongside which he spent evenings and weekends working at a radio station. This trend continued through the start of his career in public relations, when he complemented his full-time day job with television shifts at RTE. Paul’s principled stance on ethical work practices and providing cost-effective solutions benefits his clients and employees alike. He believes that it is only possible to get the best out of people by taking a proactive approach, and strongly advocates simply getting out there and tackling life passionately.
Paul Allen has been fascinated with local Irish politics and US politics from a young age. This personal interest has played a rewarding role in his business life, and led to him to work alongside prominent European and American politicians over the course of his career. Away from the fast-paced world of public relations, he enjoys listening to music, reading, gardening, and cultivating his fondness for Italian motorcycles and art.
